Jun 24, 2010 Re: PTO Reverser. Jason, they made two ratios and the basic outward appearance was the same. One was a 1to1 ratio and the other was a 2.53to1 ratio. Watch the shafts as they spin and you should be able to see which one it is. The 1to1 style reducer isn't very useful with the fast spinning cub pto.

I think it's a PTO adapter that turns the rear PTO output into a mid PTO adapter to run a deck mower. If it was a B6000 reverser it's wouldn't have a 540 output shaft on the top! Jun 27, 2017 Any kubota implements designed for the B6000 inc backhoes, which , have hydraulic a gear pump, the pumpwill be configured to run anticlock wise also, hence the lack need for PTO reverser. If you wish run any PTO based implement from a b6000 which is standard 540 clockwise rotation you'll need a reverser such as a hub city device.

Jul 29, 2008 a PTO reverser would normally spin the PHD backward, only good if you got stuck. so it would go something like, dont use it to dig the hole, get it stuck, dissconnect the driveshaft from the tractor, attach the reverser, reattach the driveshaft, spin it backward out of the hole, then repeat the whole process again so you can use it normally.

New PTO Reverser 540. 2:1 output. Set up to run pump the engine I have isn't enough horsepower to run the pump so it wouldn't start. Had the pto shafts hooked up to the reversed but wasn't used. These things aren't cheap and not real easy to find.

Thanks for the tip - as for installing the reverser, I wasnt very clear. My kubota has 4 threaded bolts extending out around the PTO shaft, since the tractor is designed to accept bolt on PTO implements. I believe there was a quick install hydraulic pump attachment that could be used to power various tools.

Pics. 2004-04-29 84689. Sometimes rotating equipment is designed to turn in one direction. The threads that fasten the gears and blades might have been specifically cut right or left hand so normal rotation keeps things tight. I'd hate to have a blade fly off or a gear slip on the shaft because the nut loosened up.
